Creator Rules
Part 10 - Creators And Socials
10:1: Introduction
At Cosmo League, we believe in the power of content creators to enhance the excitement and engagement of our events, and the power of Social Media to expand our audience. Because of this, we have set out rules and information for you to abide by. By becoming a creator for Cosmo League, you agree to the rules and information below.
10:2: Standard Creator Rules
Anyone wishing to stream the event must be approved by the Cosmo League Socials Team and be included in our list of streamers.
To apply to stream, open a streamer application ticket with your social links, account tags, and any other relevant information. Cosmo League reviews streamers on a case by case basis. Creators are not guaranteed to be accepted into our creator program. Below are the criteria we look at when handling a creator application:
Professional materials established, such as a stream overlay, commentary, stream alerts, etc.
A history of performing Clash of Clans streams, or newer channels having a clear focus on CoC related content.
No offensive language or imagery linked to your channel
Before being approved as a creator, you must verify the player tags of the accounts you will stream with to League Utils using the /claim command.
Streamers are requested to not use the stream for any political message, either within Clash of Clans or any larger world politics. Doing so may result in removal from our creator program.
At Cosmo League, we reserve the right to use clips and screenshots from your streams for our social media accounts when you stream our events. We do not claim ownership for your work, and we will not share any private information.
A streaming template will be provided to you and we ask if you are to use it during any match streams. Alternatively, please ensure the Cosmo League logo is displayed along with our website link. We ask if any graphics you use are to a high standard. Please contact a Cosmo League Owner if you wish to work with us closer, and have your own overlay developed by our partners at a discounted rate.
We ask that streamers don’t interfere with any matches they stream, and take extra care not to reveal CC troops, clan chats, etc. Any streamers who impact the end result of a game, may receive a punishment, including removal from our content creator program.
Streaming or recording whilst not being an authorised creator for Cosmo League will result in an open-ended punishment for the 'creator' and the team that was complicit in accepting them into the clan.
Representatives should not accept any and all streamers' accounts that
Have not claimed the match via League Utils
Are not linked to the streamer through League Utils.
10.3: Standard Creator Processes
Once approved as a creator, you will gain access to creator channels. We ask that you use these channels according to their purpose. If you have a question about the purpose of a channel, please feel free to reach out to a staff member.
Matches must always be claimed. This should be done using the /media claim command in the proper channel and choosing the match you would like to stream. Please do your best to claim the match at least 1 hour before it starts.
Once a match is claimed, you will receive a DM from League Utils giving you information about the teams playing in said match.
Streams should begin within 10 minutes of the match start time. If this is not possible, please notify staff of the reason and the match you are streaming so we can notify the team representatives.
Content Creators should apply and represent themselves. If this is not possible, an alternative person may represent the Creator with approval from the Socials Team. The Representative must be verified by the creator and Socials Team during the application.
